THIS IS THE WOMAN

Geraldine studied Fashion Design at Parsons The New School for Design. After graduating she returned to her native Colombia and started her own prêt-à-poter label under her name Geraldine Lustgarten.

Geraldine's inclination and love for fashion has emerged since childhood, since this was her amulet to feel good in this perfectionist world in which we live in. She was born with a physical disorder that only affected her corporeal appearance, but through fashion she found out a way to always feel fabulous and comfortable with herself.

Her main goal as a designer is to transmit her very own experience of using fashion as a therapy. She believes that how you feel is connected to the way we dress. So, when she designs her objective is to enhance the women's beauty and make the best version of herself.

Her inspiration comes mainly from experiences and moments in life. She describes her style as minimal with a touch of eccentricities.

"My work isn't just about fashion. It's about sharing my very own experience of using fashion as a therapy. I make fashion as a result of my experiences." - GL
